This is my favorite Italian restaurant in Modesto! Not only is the food delicious, the service is over the top. My sister and I have been doing lunch there for several years.
Our waiter, Jerrad, is the absolute best.He is always there for anything you need. His has five manners. He always makes you feel special and service is quick and accurate. He will make any requests you have, happen.
Jamie, the owner, made a special accommodation for us! Impressive.
We will continue to eat here whenever possible. It's worth the 35-40 minute drive.
Thank you Jerrad and Jamie for making our lunches the very best. -

New look new menu. Had the pleasure of eating in there new patio. The atmosphere is serene and the food was delicious. We were looking for a light lunch with some good wine. Ordered the meat and cheese platter with an amazing arugula goat cheese salad and pizza margarita with fresh basil and mozzarella cheese on top. The crust is amazing! They have a great wine list. The fountain and the ivy wrapped around the wall gives it a Italian villa feel

Waited to be seated fir 15 minutes but no one ever came to seat us. Looks like a bunch snooty people working there. After waiting for 15 minutes we walked out and took our business elsewhere.

I wrote a 4-star review in 2015 and I've continued to be a regular customer twice a month - today, I'd give it 4 1/2 stars. I'm drawn to downtown restaurants like Tresettis, Dewz,Concetta and Surla's when I need a people fix as well as a food fix, but when I want to remove myself from the fast lane yet get good Italian food, Veronas's is my first choice. There is no better upscale restaurant in town if you want to enjoy a quiet drink and dinner...where you can hear yourself think. The hostess is gracious and welcoming, and pays attention to where you'd like to be seated. The wait staff are very good....attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. The bar makes a consistently good Whistle Pig Manhattan. The Italian food selections are varied and CONSISTENTLY delicious...I particularly like their Veal Piccata and all of the pasta dishes. I like that Veronas's on Opentable. I was thrilled to hear they're freshening the place up next week, so I'm looking forward to a return next weekend. If you're looking for the same features I like about Veronas, there's no better alternative in town.

Seriously walked In 2 couples that were eating and no one comes to seat us. Maybe this is why your reviews are low . Attach a bell or something to the door.
